Cheekbones, Zim Zum, Cynthia’s Periscope

CHKBNS (Cheekbones) are two sisters, Aneliya Avtandilova and Emilia Avtandilova and Vyacheslav Gabrielian. For several years, they’ve been creating the kind of haunted sonics we’d normally associate with Ghost Box’s dreamier excursions. We’re going to be welcoming them to The Peer Hat as our very Russian season continues apace. What’s been said about them?

ZIM ZUM
Zim Zum is the solo project of Amy Horgan who is part of the Islington Mill art collective in Salford and a founding member of the psychedelic ritual collective WATER. An uneasily sublime blending of industrial damaged techno and seraphic ambience, utilising strictly analogue equipment and voice, Amy’s debut record was recently issued on the critically acclaimed ZamZam records.
