Eva Eik
Combining her emotive nordic voice with deep beats and synths with her Norwegian, Icelandic and Romanian heritage, Eva Eik sounds like electronica with a trip hop twist. The singer and songwriter is often compared to Aurora, BANKS and Lykke Li. She grew up in Oslo, Norway and has been writing music from a very young age, and she is currently doing an undergraduate degree in performance and songwriting at Leeds College of Music. Her lyrics are raw and inspired by her surroundings, using a plethora of metaphors combined with a direct approach. She is constantly exploring new musical territory and writing new material, as songwriting is second nature to her. Eva Eik takes you on a journey through all kinds of exciting and dramatic feelings, doing so in her own musical way.
