A heavy triphop dark jazz band whose compositions explore inner demons and truths using twisted layered lyrics, bending vocals and eerie harmony which come together to create a dark beauty. Freese trio take the audience on a journey of self reflection unmasking on a journey to truth down a rabbit hole into a tunnel and back out into the light, holding them in a mesmerising trance which enables them to release suppressed emotions. Freese trio recently performed at Manchester jazz festival, Marsden jazz festival, have supported Yazmin Lacy and Szun Waves (with the saxophonist from Portico Quartet) and received a place on the Manchester jazz festival hothouse scheme.
