Carol Hodge and Julia Othmer live at The Peer Hat

Carol Hodge and Julia Othmer bring their double headline show to the fantastic Peer Hat.

Sunday 11th August 2019, doors 7pm, music starts 7:30pm.

After meeting on tour supporting The Alarm in November 2018, the two became firm friends and decided to fuse sapphic forces in a short tour this summer.

Carol is a familiar face on the UK alternative music scene, providing keyboard and BVs for the likes of Steve Ignorant’s Slice Of Life, Ryan Hamilton and the Harlequin Ghosts and occasional guest spots with The Membranes and Ginger Wildheart. Notable for her seven fingers, big pipes and self-deprecating humour, she has been touring the UK in 2019 promoting her debut solo album Hold On To That Flame.

Julia Othmer hails from Los Angeles and has a transatlantic reputation for soulful, energetic performance. A fellow ivory tinkler, she is currently on a world tour promoting her new album SOUND. She is a winner of several songwriting awards and has has shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan, Emmylou Harris, and Heart, Regina Spektor, The Alarm, Lisa Loeb and John Waite among others.
