Community United in Music and Me Gusta have cum together to bring you a night of LIVE West-Africa born music from incredibly talented kora players, Senny and John Haycock, followed by the exemplary DJ and producer, Anz. with support from Tamu !!

Join us on Friday 25th January 2019 to lose yourself to music that’s travelled all the way across the globe, and let serenity settle in as you get funky to some sweet kora melodies, plus afrobeat, latin rhythms, dancehall grooves and much much more !!

Raised in Senegal, West Africa, and flying in from Paris, we are very excited to present Senny Camara opening the evening with 21 strings and the voice of her soul.

John Haycock Music
Manchester-based multi-instrumentalist, John Haycock, will be blessing us with his handmade kora with an electronic twist, live-looping to mend your mind.

LIVE DJS:

Tamu
Singer, songwriter, producer and multi-alias artist, Tamu, will be mixing a live set of his favourite latin jazz, afrobeat and Indonesian tribal music.

Anz.
Absolutely delighted to announce genre-hybrid producer, NTS resident DJ, and Red Bull Studios Riddim Rally winner, Anz, will be topping off the evening like icing sugar with some tasty sounds and the apex of exceptional world music !!

The Me Gusta Collective has brought a new dimension of culture and depth to Manchester’s nightlife and aims to spread cultural diaspora from continent to continent. Expect an array of atmospheric sounds, lighting and installations from the crew.
