Harsh soundscapes; Mexican based in the Jura mountains, Purpura is an essential sonic presence by the telluric strength of her sets that blast furiously deep in the red with joy and a sense of noise, formidably assumed and mastered.

Stable

Stable is the noise project of Glasgow based musician Andy Brown; it attempts to straddle the disciplines of pure noise, abstract composition, pummelling rhythmic dynamics and static minimalism

Rather than feeling tied to any specific genre constraints, Brown instead filters whatever he wants to investigate, without portfolio through his explicit love of fundamentally intense sound.

ADRIAN STEELE

Adrian Steele doesn’t have an edgy pseudonym, but I’ve capitalised his name anyway.

His soundscapes bind the unerring pulse of dance music with the ruinous impulse of dark ambient and power electronics. Vocals are wordless and uncanny, unrecognisable in the murk. Basslines are droning and saturated, with shrieks of no-input noise spilling from the peripheries.
