M.Powerhouse: she-selekta w/ Eastel Katalamøde Stefanie Chew

m|P introduce a heavy techno night in Manchester performed by strong females within the industry.

SHE-SELEKTA name been adopted from the event series founder Jaroška that took place at the Fantomas bar in a monthly basis in Vilnius, Lithuania with focus on creating a platform for female/bi/trans/queer and non binary electronic music performers.

▪️ Eastel is a techno dj and producer for the last 5 years, a resident at Takehit Squad record label living between Paris and Seoul.She played with artist like CLOUDS, Oscar Mulero, AnD, Joefarr, Anetha, Perc, Chris Liebing in iconic scenes like the Rex Club, Nuits Fauves and Concrete Paris, La Machin du Moulin Rouge.
She have a side project with Paul Mørk which begun with ”Arius Viol” release. They are preparing a special music as the result of their mixed universes.

▪️ KATALAMØDE is a Manchester-based DJ and musician, over a decade of DJing experience with past residencies at a multiple of UK venues and founding resident of a Manchester’s well known Industrial Techno, Dark Electronic club night DELETE YOURSELF. As a avid musician and DJ Katalamøde has a long and varied history of performing solo and with bands world wide, across the UK, German, Polish, Czech, Danish and Hungarian underground club scenes including venues such as Electrofied, Electrowerkz London, Club Braincorp Copenhagen, Supersonic – Blue Hell & KVLT Budapest, Hungary, Castle Party Festival Bolków Poland, Infest Festival UK and many more.

▪️ Stefanie Chew is a music producer and DJ with a passion for electronic music Liverpool and Manchester based.
Her DJ sets encompass an eclectic mix of techno, acid, house and rave whilst they also offer up a side serving of experimental finds. Her DJ sets aim to champion new music and she is always on the lookout for underground upcoming talent to feature in her DJ sets. She is currently working on a new EP which she is hoping to release later this year.
