Pyramids // 7:30pm

We are a two-piece sibling pop act: Keys, guitars, electronic drums, bass, backing layers and samples. We both love lots of different types of music, which is apparent in the music we make. There is a mixture of dark and light. On-stage theatrics are deployed during several elements of the show.
We have a clean pop sound, but one that is often supplied by veins of the sinister, of mischief, darkness, unease and contradiction. All this is delivered with an unbreakable sense of fun.
Be Quiet, Shout Loud // 8:30pm
Be Quiet. Shout Loud!
‘Be Quiet. Shout Loud!’ are a five piece disco-rock band from Teesside. Known for their flamboyant and energetic live shows ‘Be Quiet! Shout Loud!’ have quickly become the must-see live act from the North East.
“Sequins, impressive dance moves and a whole load of sparkle… with 80’s-style synths, catchy lyrics and heaps of passion” – NARC Magazine.
“Their furiously energetic stage shows regularly blow people’s minds.” – NEVolume.
“The band have the sensibilities of a glam rock five piece, but the sound of something in between The Darkness and New Order. They look like Steel Panther, act like The Rolling Stones .
The Vanity Project // 9:30pm
The Vanity Project
Having played with these guys a number of times we know you’re all in for a treat!
‘The Vanity Project sit somewhere between pop clowns and cabaret cult leaders. Using a loop pedal and far more instruments than it’s wise for two people to play, the duo incorporate monologues, costumes and the occasional dance routine into their live show. Their songs weave strange worlds of despicable dilettantes, hallucinogenic soft drinks and fascistic seaside towns. Though surreal and twitchy, their sound is laced with irresistible grooves, infectious hooks and satiric wit. Winners of the 2016 national iSessions contest, they’ve been written about in the Independent, played on Radio 6 and garnered praise from the likes of Marc Riley and Everything Everything frontman Jonathan Higgs’.
