Switchblade Poetry Launch Night

It’s our first event!

Switchblade means switching up the format – we are the ideal night if you’ve never been to a poetry gig before, never read at one or even if you’re a seasoned professional.

Bring a poem, read another. As well as reading your own work, you’ll be reading a stranger’s piece – and they’ll be reading yours.

Round One is the switched up round – all the poems get put in a hat, and you’ll be given a poem to put your spin on.

Round Two is your chance to show off two pieces of original work.

We’re going to have some incredible headliners, too.

We’re in support of Self Help Manchester, (Self Help UK) and we’ll be taking donations on the night, as well as a special prize to be won.
