Tinfoils are a three-piece garage-punk band based in Manchester, whose frantic brand of DIY guitar driven music rages against the private security companies who police the streets of Britain, the media machine surrounding the royal family, the inescapable nature of a 20-odd year old’s overdraft as well as having the odd song about thrush.

Blanketman sweat and toil in a city called Manchester. They drink in pubs, eat supermarket meal deals and play musical instruments. Drawing influences from a wide range of bands spanning the last 50 years, Blanketman have been compared in sound to bands such as Gang of Four, The Velvet Underground, Joy Division and The B-52’s.
