TONDEUSE//INDUSTRIES//NATHAN STOKER

April 22 @ 7:30 pm - 11:00 pm
£6.00

TONDEUSE is duo formed by the artist Estelle Chaigne and the sound tinkerer Bertuf. On Sundays when they come out of their garden shed, the neighbour can hear in the distance few melodies lost in the white noise of their electric machines. Listening closely, they might discern snippets of ethereal, sung electronic pop accompanied by sawtooth or sinusoidal waves. And sometimes rhythm, but not too much, and sometimes voice, but not too loud. Music on cushion of air.

INDUSTRIES is an electronic music project by Markus Hetheier. His music explores and subverts musical structures and ranges from field recordings, distorted sounds to harmonic melodies and large beats. Together with Norrisette, he co-runs the queer electronica night FLUFF (amongst many other ventures). He’s a beaut.

NATHAN STOKER is a trumpet player and producer whose dizzying talent sees him plumb ever more haunting sonic worlds, evoking rain slick neon and flickering post modern hallucination. A Peer Hat favourite.
