Skymouth Presents

August 29, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 10:29 pm

Hey! Skymouth here with another bag of floating music, spat up freshly and served how you like it!

An artist with German Shepherd records, DOMINIC CARLTON JONES has two releases under his belt to date; the EP ‘ONE’, released March 3rd 2017, and his debut album ‘Salford Punk Poetry Sadness Death New Life’ released October 2018.
His debut album won the best act 2018 award From The Salford Star, with Editor Ian Leslie describing it as being ‘highly innovative’.

KARL D’SILVA is a polyglot, having performed across multiple projects and styles with raw determination. He’s perhaps most known for his incredible saxophone work where he uses circular breathing to rattle through drones and arpeggios, often performing alongside Rian Treanor’s (Death of Rave, Planet Mu) dexterous electronics. He’s got an incredible CV, as a current member of noise/power electronics group The Vanishing, and with past performances alongside Thurston Moore, Damo Suzuki, Okkyung Lee, Ex-Easter Island Head, Rhys Chatham and Stephen Mallinder of Cabaret Voltaire to name a few. He’s now turned his hand to solo pop music and early signs look like it’s going to be an incredible project. – Nick Hughes, The Pink Wafer

CYNTHIA’S PERISCOPE was made in a perti dish in 2014 out of a lumpy elixir of folktronica, techno, post punk and lo-fi pop.
Have toured only over the UK and released three eps plus countless singles Cynthia’s Periscope is currently writing it’s debut album.
“A wonderful fusion of the melodic and the occasionally macabre, a tricky, trippy sound that nods towards the dancefloor but also has a cerebral, emotive and soul-purging quality to it vocally and lyrically that you don’t often come across in electronica.”

VOXISH Adam Ralph creates a wrtihing, physical electronica—powerfully vocal lead and expressed viscerally in his movements and delivery. Simply one of a kind, Voxish is proving more surprising each time he performs.

BOBOTRONIC has emerged from the wilds of Buxton with an entirely new kind of sound…a fusion of classic rock and techno, he’s going to be playing a series of gigs with us, starting with this warmer.
